Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 July 2026

1. About our service

NI Apply is a trading name of Tax2U Ltd (Company No. 07687557), registered in England and Wales. We provide an independent application assistance service for UK National Insurance numbers.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to HMRC, the DWP, or any government department. You can apply for a National Insurance number free of charge directly through the UK Government website at gov.uk. Our service is for individuals who want assistance with completing and submitting their application.

2. Service plans and pricing

We offer three service plans:

  • Standard (£49 + VAT): Application preparation, document checking, and submission to HMRC
  • Fast Track (£79 + VAT): All Standard features plus prioritised handling and active HMRC chasing
  • Full Service (£129 + VAT): All Fast Track features plus enhanced support and document assistance

Prices include VAT at the prevailing rate. Payment is required before we begin processing your application.

3. What we will do

When you engage our service, we will:

  • Guide you through the application form step by step
  • Review your information and documents before submission
  • Prepare and submit your National Insurance number application to HMRC on your behalf
  • Provide support throughout the process via phone and email
  • Notify you when your application has been submitted

4. What you must do

To enable us to provide the service, you must:

  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
  • Submit valid identity documents (passport, BRP, or other accepted ID)
  • Complete identity verification via the GOV.UK ID Check app or as directed by HMRC
  • Respond to requests for additional information in a timely manner
  • Authorise us to act on your behalf in communications with HMRC regarding your application

5. Refund policy

We operate the following refund policy:

  • Before submission to HMRC: If we have not yet submitted your application, you may request a full refund minus an administrative fee of £10 + VAT
  • After submission to HMRC: No refund is available once your application has been submitted, as the service has been performed
  • Rejection due to ineligible information: If HMRC rejects your application because you provided false or ineligible information, no refund is available
  • Our error: If your application is rejected due to an error on our part, we will re-submit at no additional cost or provide a full refund

6. Processing times

Standard applications typically take 2-4 weeks after identity verification. These timescales are estimates and depend on HMRC processing times, which are outside our control. We do not guarantee specific completion dates, as HMRC processing times vary. Fast Track applications may be processed sooner, but we cannot guarantee HMRC will expedite your application.

8. Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid for our service. We are not liable for:

  • Delays caused by HMRC processing times
  • Rejection of applications by HMRC due to information you provided
  • Any consequences of you failing to complete identity verification
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Our total liability arising from any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for our service.
